I plan to write about this painting when I saw this place in Brittany, France on 20 June 2019. It is a mesmerizingly beautiful fort built around 1756. I simply had to capture it on canvas when I started painting. The island, now, is a private residence of the singer Leo Ferre and cannot be visited.
