This painting inhabits the space between memory and imagination. It explores the meeting point between the inner and outer worlds. A young woman walks along the shoreline, suspended between the vastness of the sea and a tree laden with pink blossoms.
Although inspired by my daughter, the figure represents more than a portrait. Walking forward, she inhabits a world shaped equally by imagination and experience. Through this work , I reflect on the growth, independence and the enduring connection between the landscapes we inhabit and the inner world we create.
