The Iridescent Irises

Part of my series on Iris flowers, ‘ The Iridescent Irises’ is a cluster of breathtaking blooms, standing tall and proud, reaching for the sky. Without competing they just bloom and seem to bridge the gap between heaven and earth , inspiring you to rise above the challenges around you. The beauty of these prismatic flowers is the untamed dancing hue as light hits them from different angles resulting in an ephemeral experience that had to be treasured on canvas to be preserved for eternity. This work is an exploration of light, colour and quiet strength found in nature.
