Golden Stillness

A family outing to the historical city of Orcha turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The sun soaked rocky terrain along the Betwa river was a visual treat to the soul. The landscape seemed to come alive as the golden morning light illuminated the river’s currents casting brilliant reflections on the surrounding boulders. In this painting I have tried to capture this pure, unsullied glowing skyline as the sun’s warm golden rays danced on the gentle waves of the Betwa and reflected on the rocky riverside. It invites viewers to pause, immerse themselves in the warmth of the moment and experience the serenity of the river as it unfolds beneath the golden embrace of the sun.
